The Rorschach Test

The Rorschach Test

The Rorschach Inkblot test is a very common test that psychologists use around the world. It is simple, quick, and efficient, designed to find out what kind of a personality the patient has. It will most likely detect thought disorders.
Designed by a Swiss psychologist named Hermann Rorschach, performing it is quite simple. There are 10 official inkblot cards. They are always on a white background, with black, red, or multicolored blotches of ink. The performer shows the cards one by one to the patient, asking what they originally saw and what made them think that.
During this process, the psychologist must carefully watch every move the patient makes. For example, the patient may ask if he/she may rotate the card. This would show the patient's personality trait.
This test can basically show someone's personality. Depending on what the patient sees, the personality changes. I think that this is one of the greatest psychological tests ever made, because it is efficient and pretty accurate. It is also very simple and easy to perform.
